"Factory to Consumer" - Postcard
An unused printed picture postcard of J. F. T. Isham milking a cow and squirting milk into a waiting cat's mouth. The camera shutter bulb is concealed in his left hand. This print was made from the "printer's block", accession # 1995.048.001. The postcard is titled "Factory to Consumer", in white on the front lower right hand corner. It also reads, in white: Copyright, on the front lower left hand corner.

This original picture shows the Wagon Bridge collapse of July 1941, with the milk truck and the steel framework in the Maumee River at Waterville, Ohio. Two men were in the milk truck when it dropped with the span, and they survived. The bridge was originally built in 1888, but had been condemned for vehicular traffic for some years at the time of the collapse. Al Graf business on N Third St, Waterville - Print, Photographic
This paper copy of a photograph is looking northeast at the east side of N Third St. in Waterville, Ohio. The building at the center of the picture, with the two open bays, was a business owned by Albert Graf and his son, Douglas. Originally a blacksmith shop, by the time this picture was taken in the mid-Fifties, it probably was a machine shop and mechanical repair facility. Note also the Rupp Canal Store to the right.
