Construction of the Waterville Interurban Bridge - Print, Photographic
A black and white print copy of a J. F. T. Isham photograph of the Waterville Interurban Bridge, during construction. The print has a matte finish, with a white border, and seems to be looking southeast, from river level, with Roche de Boeuf at the extreme left side, and the wooden framework extending toward the Wood County side of the river.

Kerosene Lamp - Lamp, kerosene
A sheet metal kerosene lamp with a tiny fill spout in the base. It has a square front with a red glass lens - apparently used in a dark room for making prints, either of glass-plate negatives or objects of an irregular shape. This lamp belonged to John Findlay Torrence Isham, a local amateur photographer.

Printing block - Block, printing
An etched copper plate attached to 3/4" thick hard wood block. Etching is printer's block of J.F.T. Isham self photo of J.F.T. milking a cow directly into cat's mouth, captioned: "Factory to Consumer", and was used to print postcards. Note: Printed postcard displayed with plate on shelf of Photo Cabinet. This block may have been created using a glass-plate negative.

Rack, drying - Rack, drying
A small wooden, folding drying rack for glass-plate negatives being developed. Two wooden frames, one inside the other, pinned to fold apart to 90 degrees of each other. Bottom legs cut 45 degrees to sit flat on table and the top cross-members are slotted to hold the glass-plate in position (12 slots). This drying rack belonged to John Findlay Torrence Isham, a local amateur photographer.

Waterville Interurban Bridge Construction with crew - Print, photographic
A sepia-tone print of the construction of the 1908 Waterville Interurban Bridge, on the Maumee River, at Waterville, Ohio. The construction crew is posing on the wooden framework during a concrete pour. On the back of the cardboard mount is written, in pen: "Grover Sauter Building Old Waterville Bridge". There is also an address label which reads: "Joan & Richard Conrad 863 S Mitchell Rd Bowling Green, OH 43402".

Wooden slide frame part of JFT Isham camera. - Plateholder
A wooden frame with two removable laquered black cardboard slides on either side of fixed center. Each slide has a wooden finger grip attached with small copper rivets. Stamped on one side of frame is: " Rochester Camera and Supply Co., Rochester N.Y.". This is a component of the J.F.T. Isham camera. item # 1995.42.001. It was used in the process of developing glass-plate negatives.
