Description |
Circa 1930's apple grading and sorting machine in packing house behind the salesroom at the Frank Farnsworth Fruit Farm in Waterville, Ohio. Apples were turned over and over on a roller so culls could be sorted out. The apples were then sized and delivered to the proper outlet for dumping into wood crates for storage in the cold storage room adjacent to the packing house. This building was destroyed by fire on Christmas Eve, 1955. |
