Description |
A rotating cylinder of sheet brass full of small holes driven by gears and hand crank (crank handle is broken) supported by a light cast steel frame on a square wooden base. A rubber roller is pressed to under side of cylinder by spring tension. Machine has a sheet metal (painted black) cover, that clamps to base, making it portable. A brass tag (1.5" x 4.25") states "Rotary Neostyle No. 8 - F" + (a guarantee statement) "Neostyle Sales Agency - New York, U.S.A. - U.S. Patents _ June 30, 1903, Dec. 15, 1903, Feb ?, 1904, June 19, 1906, Dec. 17, 1907 and May 25, 1909, listed in a column. The mimeograph was invented by Albert Blake Dick in 1887. |
