Al Graf business on N Third St, Waterville - Print, Photographic
This paper copy of a photograph is looking northeast at the east side of N Third St. in Waterville, Ohio. The building at the center of the picture, with the two open bays, was a business owned by Albert Graf and his son, Douglas. Originally a blacksmith shop, by the time this picture was taken in the mid-Fifties, it probably was a machine shop and mechanical repair facility. Note also the Rupp Canal Store to the right.

Clover Leaf Fruit Farm Truck circa 1923 - Print, Photographic
A black and white photograph of a (circa 1923) White stake bed truck. The sign on the side, behind the cab, reads "Clover Leaf Fruit Farm". The fruit farm was operated by W. W. Farnsworth and William E. Young, both of Waterville, Ohio. This truck was the the first one used to haul fruit to market. Farm Wagon Model - Model, patent
Farm wagon model built by Albert Graf in 1895, a blacksmith, as a model for a patented axle steering mechanism. The back wheels measure 20" and the front wheels measure 16". The box is painted green, the wheels orange and yellow, with black accents. The restoration of this wagon to original specification and colors was done by Andrew M. Harvey III (see notebook 2001.017.1)

An enlarged (12" x 14") black & white photo of the front of the two joined buildings of the Ostrander & Co., dry goods and shoes on the left, and groceries and meats, on the right. Two horse-drawn delivery wagons are shown, in the street, in front of the store, along with eleven unnamed people on the sidewalk. Three People in a Vintage Automobile - Negative, Glass-plate
This glass-plate negative has the following etched in the emulsion side of the glass: "Bristol, Conn". This photo shows a man driving an early open automobile, with two women in the back seat. The car is a 1904 Cadillac Model B, and the license plates are Connecticut, year 1905. The woman on the right, in the back seat is Harriet E. Coleman, but the other two people are not identified.
